Comprised of no fewer than 1097 ceramic tiles, With Madsen cut and shaped the slabs by hand before firing them. She then composed the installation across three tiered levels in the beautiful university park, together with a team from Tommerup Keramiske Værksted. Responding to the gradient of the hill, the installation is carved out from the landscape like steps or seats for park visitors to enjoy. The organic form and sandy colour give the plateaus a ruinous feeling, as
though part of an archeological excavation or a much larger historic, non-pictorial mosaic that's been partially revealed.
By night, the work evolves to feature multi-coloured illuminations, using light projections containing slides which have a layer of liquid crystals inside. The slides are done in collaboration with scientist Francesca Serra, They change color and formation with the surrounding temperature.

Udsmykningen består af to dele. Dels tre plateauer bygget ind i skråningen foran BSS Kantine i Aarhus Universitetspark.
